Virtual Reality Attraction Host/Hostess

Become one of the few dedicated individuals who take pride in being a part of one of the leading brands in the location-based virtual reality entertainment industry. Representing the brand at the reception desk, an Anvio VR Hostess fulfills a job of utmost responsibility.

Following Anvio VR high standards of quality guest satisfaction, an Anvio VR Hostess is responsible for anticipating guest needs, and exceeding guest service expectations all while knowing well the VR platform, and Anvio VR games, as well as being able to consult customers over phone or in person.

Tasks
  • Greet customers as soon as they walk through the door
  • Maintain a neat, organized front-of-house environment
  • Assist with opening/closing tasks and side work as needed
  • Answer phones and schedule reservations
  • Answer questions online via different channels
  • Accept and process customer feedback
  • Accept payments in cash and complete card payments
  • Check customers IDs
  • Seat business guests and offer/serve hot drinks as needed
  • Keep the business meeting room clean and tidy
  • Notify management of all problem situations
  • Handle other duties as assigned (e.g. filing reports, ordering stationery etc.)
Requirements
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Friendly, open disposition; a pleasant, upbeat and sociable personality
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills in person and over the phone
  • 1+ years customer service experience, preferably in the entertainment industry
  • Experience with or willingness to learn Sage Live accounting software
  • Basic knowledge of Google Docs/Microsoft Office software
  • Willingness to learn technical details of Anvio’s VR platform (to a sensible degree) for consulting customers over phone

Virtual Reality Attraction Operator

Become one of the few dedicated individuals who take pride in being a part of one of the leading brands in the location-based virtual reality entertainment industry. An Anvio VR Operator is a job of significant importance and responsibility.

The role of a free-roam VR attraction Operator is to greet the customers, supervise our virtual reality arena during game sessions, tailor the gameplay to the needs of each team, and maintain equipment to ensure the highest levels of safety and the quality of our customers’ game experience. To encourage fun and to make sure players stick to the rules at the same time.

Anvio VR operators work in pairs. Each operator either controls the gameplay or supervises the customers on the arena during game sessions. However, the ideal candidate is required to be able to fulfill all the functions listed below:

  • Meet and greet all arriving customers
  • Explain safety rules and game objectives to the customers
  • Explain how to use the VR gear
  • Assist customers in gearing up
  • Interact with customers during game sessions via microphone/headset
  • Monitor customer activity during game sessions and ensure safety at all times
  • Take pictures of customers/record videos during game sessions with a smartphone if requested
  • Make sure tracking equipment is functioning seamlessly which includes reconfiguring the tracking software and recalibrating the tracking system (training and manuals provided)
  • Constantly monitor condition of equipment to meet facility standards, inspect the equipment for wear or any kind of damage
  • Assist in repairing/cleaning of the equipment when necessary
  • Keep wearable gear charged
  • Handle other duties as assigned (e.g. order gear replacement etc.)
Requirements

Virtual Reality Attraction Systems Administrator

Anvio VR free-roam virtual reality facility is looking for an experienced and talented System Administrator to maintain Anvio VR venue’s internal infrastructure including VR tracking systems, local network, and office hardware.

  • Ensure all Anvio VR systems and hardware are operational 24x7
  • Respond to incidents from Operators or Hostesses
  • Specify and order equipment, software and services
  • Support, maintain and upgrade internal infrastructure
  • Maintain up to date and effective documentation on all relevant IT systems, services and procedures
  • Ensure security on all systems, legal requirements and regulations are met
  • Assist in the management and responsibility for company data ensuring that all backup and restore procedures are adhered to and effective
  • Deploy new game builds onto portable VR gear
  • Systematize and report game bugs to the management
Requirements
  • 2+ years' experience in system administration
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related area

Virtual Reality Attraction Janitor

Become one of the few dedicated individuals who take pride in being a part of one of the leading brands in the location-based virtual reality entertainment industry. We are looking for a Janitor who will be responsible for maintaining spotless customer and office zones, exceeding our guests’ expectations of customer environment. You will be working on your own initiative to prioritize the daily janitorial tasks including the following:

  • Wet/dry cleaning duties including floor, glass walls and other surfaces
  • Emptying bins in both customer and office zones
  • Ensure that all cleaning/chemical materials are locked away
  • Clean kitchen microwave, fridge and plasma screens around the facility
  • Clean facility water machines, empty/clean drip trays, replace cups
  • Complete all work in accordance with current legal Health & Safety requirements
  • Assist in cleaning of the VR equipment when necessary
  • Report all machine and building faults to the management
  • Be clean, smart in appearance, and wear uniform at all times
  • Any other reasonable duties as requested
